This is a new eye-opening tour that JCU is offering for the first time this summer! We hope that by studying and living in Rome you develope a true feel for the city, not just by living and studying here but by understanding the true multitude of different people who inhabit this city.

Italy is a main gateway to Europe by immigrants from Africa and the Middle East. On this tour you will experience the city through the eyes of Wael, an Eygptian immigrant,who now calls Rome his home. You can expect to meet and speak with more than a couple of individuals who come from all sorts of places around the world on this tour!

One of the main stops on this tour is the neighborhood of Esquilino, where you will visit different markets and discover some of Rome's hidden foreign restaurants. At the end of the tour we will stop to have lunch (optional) with Wael, our tour guide.You definitely want to take advantage of this FREE tour!
