John Cabot University is taking you to the cities of Pompeii, Paestum, Caserta. Let yourself go to the atmosphere that the Campania region suggests: an incredible connection with History, Art and passion for life.

Pompeii, a Roman city buried and preserved by Mount Vesuvius's volcanic eruption in 79 AD, is one of the most significant proofs of Roman civilization for its display of art, customs, trades and examples of everyday life in ancient times

Paestum. In the magical Cilento region there is a place of pure fascination, capable of transporting us to Magna Graecia: it is Paestum, ancient Poseidonia. Located in the easternmost part of the Gulf of Salerno, 10 kilometers from the mouth of the Sele River, it boasts two thousand-year history that will literally leave you speechless. Strolling through the archaeological area among the imposing temples of Poseidon, Hera and Athena -the best preserved in the world, along with those of Athens and Agrigento - we will be amazed by the sacred atmosphere and encounter of two civilizations that suggests a renovated wisdom to visitors today.

Caserta is most famous for the Royal Palace of Caserta. When the palace was built in the 18th century it was one of the largest in Europe. The palace can rival that of Versailles and the Royal Palace in Madrid. It is exceptional in the way it brings together its palace, gardens, parks and natural woodlands.

Our itinerary also includes a culinary stop: at Paestum, a local farm awaits for a cheesemaking tour and a genuine lunch of typical Campania cheese specialities.
