Discover Circeo National Park with us

Founded in 1934, Circeo National Park spreads out along the Mediterranean coastline near the cities Anzio and Terracina, only 62 miles from Rome. The beautiful landscape at Cerceo National Park has fallen under the control of the Romans as an early colony, the Knights Templar during the Middle Ages, the feudal lords of Caetani later, and as a papal stronghold before finally becoming the national park that it is today

The views along the Mt. Circeo hike include a vast vista of the Mediterranean Sea and the land of Lazio (the local region) along with beautiful and unique geologic formations and fauna growth that exist only in this park. The Cerce Woods (Selva di Cerce) at Circeo National Park are one of the best-preserved and largest original forests in the country.
