Campo Felice is a karstic plateau in the central Appennines, included in the province of L'Aquila, Abruzzo, central Italy. It is geographically bounded by the Velino-Sirente chain. Campo Felice is situated at some 1500 m above the sea level and has the shape of a basin. Vegetation is scarce, mostly composed by beech woods in the surrounding mountains slopes.
Temperatures can reach -30° m in winter. It is the seat of the eponymous ski resort.
Schedule:
Departure 7.30AM from Tiber Campus. We will reach Campo Felice around 9.30AM.
We will pick up our ski passes and go to the rental centre and choose if either you will ski or snowboard. Packed lunch included.
Departure for Rome around 5.30PM. Arriving at Tiber Campus at 7.30PM.
Minimum Number of Participants Required 7.
Maximum Number of Participants: 16.
