Travel back in time to 79AD, the year that Mount Vesuvius erupted, covering the city of Pompeii with ash. Explore the ancient ruins on a guided tour of the city. Learn about Pompeii’s customs, religion, architecture, and commerce by visiting the famous Forum of Pompeii as well as amphitheaters, bathhouses, and personal villas. These places are well-preserved reminders of the ancient Roman Empire.
Schedule:
7.30 am: Leaving from Rome
11.30 am: Arrival at Pompeii and start of the guided visit
1.00 pm: Lunch break
2.00 pm: The visit continues!
4.30 pm: Leaving from Pompeii
7.30 pm: Arrival at Rome
