The Hadrian's Villa is a large Roman archaeological complex in Tivoli, Italy, and was constructed as a retreat from Rome for the Roman Emperor Hadrian during the second and third decades of the 2nd century AD.
The Villa d'Este is a wonderful example of Renaissance architecture and the Italian Renaissance garden. It is also listed as a UNESCO world heritage site.
