Get off the well beaten path and join us on this "viaggio" to Emilia Romagna where we will COOK, EAT, SIGHTSEE and LEARN!!

Emilia Romagna is a region of traditions, history and hospitality. This beautiful land is located between the regions of Tuscany, Veneto and Lombardia and is famous for its wonderful food. On this three day weekend trip we will be visiting Bologna, Modena and Parma!

Bologna is the largest city in Emilia Romagna and also its capitol. Home to the oldest university in the world, The University of Bologna (founded in 1088), hosts thousands of students who keep this very old city young and vibrant. We will be staying in Bologna on Friday and Saturday night and participating in a cooking class at the
Vecchia Scuola. During your free time in the city you can go and explore its beautiful porticoes and impressive towers.

Modena is an ancient town settled by the Etruscans and also the birthplace of Enzo Ferrari! Modena is famous for many reasons but one of the main reasons is its balsamic vinegar! In Modena we will be going to
Acetataia Villa San Donnino where we will have a guided tour, tasting and light lunch.

On Sunday we will be visiting
Casale del Groppone located in the countryside of Parma. Here we will be tasting the delicious and world famous Prosciutto di Parma, taking a Parmigiano Reggiano tour, and lastly having a private wine tasting and light lunch. This is a perfect way to wrap up a fun filled three day weekend in the region of Emilia Romagna!
