John Cabot University is taking you to the cities of Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri and Caserta. Let yourself go to the atmosphere that the Campania region suggests: an incredible connection with History, Art and passion for life.

Pompeii, a Roman city buried and preserved by Mount Vesuvius's volcanic eruption in 79 AD, is one of the most significant proofs of Roman civilization for its display of art, customs, trades and examples of everyday life in ancient times

Sorrento, is a charming and picturesque town right on the sea. The streets and alleys are adorned with beautiful villas and plenty of shops. The colorful churches and quaint piazzas that surround the city give it an "old world" feel. You can see a monastery built by Saint Francis of Assisi and also go exploring in the harbor.

Capri is an island in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrentine Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples. It has been a resort destination since the time of the Roman Republic. The island features the Marina Piccola (the little harbour), the Belvedere of Tragara, which is a high panoramic promenade lined with villas, limestone crags called sea stacks that project above the sea (the Faraglioni), Anacapri, the Blue Cave (Grotta Azzurra), and the ruins of the Imperial Roman villas.

Caserta is a beautiful town in the region of Campania and is most famous for the Royal Palace of Caserta. When the palace was built in the 18th century it was one of the largest in Europe. The palace can rival that of Versailles and the Royal Palace in Madrid. It is exceptional in the way it brings together its palace, gardens, parks and natural woodlands.
