There are a few places where one can enjoy a night at the opera plunged into roman ruins; one of these are the Caracalla Thermal baths, the finest example of great Roman baths and were one of the biggest thermae complexes in antiquity.

Mass is a play for singers, actors and dancers by Leonard Bernstein. This form of musical theater is a rather unusual form of music. Leonard Bernstein wrote the music theater piece based on an order from Jacqueline Kennedy. The premiere took place in 1971 at the opening of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.

Leonard Bernstein combines many modern styles of music: rock, blues and jazz, plus ballet.

Mass is a holy mass, a divine service in which crises of life and crises of faith play a role.
