Students will explore hand building clay processes to develop small scale abstract sculptures. Emphasis will be placed on texture and a variety of innovative ways to develop sculptural responses based on the natural environment. This worktop will be fast-paced, involving collaborative techniques to create shared artworks. This will be followed by each individual student creating a final miniature sculpture using air drying clay.
