Start your Spring break with a special weekend trip to explore northern Italy in three of the most beautiful and charming cities: Venice, Verona, and Vicenza, living the experience of a workshop at an ancient and magical ceramic laboratory where we will be able to get our hands dirty and tests in first person the art of working with ceramic!

In Vicenza there is something divine. (Goethe)

Vicenza has a long history and combines its ancient past together with its modern cosmopolitan outlook and thriving economy to create a city full of life. The city has an affinity with the famous architect Palladio who reinterpreted Roman architecture with sublime elegance. It has been awarded world heritage site status by UNESCO thanks to the harmonious splendor that characterizes its aspect.

When I seek another world for music, I never find any other word than Venice. (Nietzsche)

The Republic of Venice was a major maritime power during the Middle Ages and Renaissance, and a staging area for the Crusades and the Battle of Lepanto, as well as a very important center of commerce (especially silk, grain and spice trade) and art in the 13th century up to the end of the 17th century. Venice has played an important role in the history of symphonic and opera music and is the birthplace of Antonio Vivaldi.

There is no world beyond Verona’s walls. ( Romeo – W.S)

Verona is one of the main tourist destinations in northern Italy, thanks to its artistic heritage, several annual fairs, shows, and operas, such as the lyrical season in the Arena, the ancient amphitheater built by the Romans. It is also home to Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. It has been awarded world heritage site status by UNESCO because of its urban structure and architecture.
