Date: Friday, Nov. 4th
Price: €60
Deadline to sign-up and pay is by 5:00pm Monday, Oct. 31st

Join us just north of Rome for a tour of an ancient Roman olive grove. You will learn how making olive oil has changed over the last 2000 years as well as see an operating modern olive oil mill. After the tour, you will learn how to discern the signs of a high quality product and enjoy a tasting of the grove’s own olive oil.

For lunch, at “La Cucina Sabina” we will eat authentic Roman Style pizza characterized by a thin, crispy crust. There will be plenty of fresh air and tasty treats before returning to Rome in the afternoon. You will also have time at the end of the day to buy local artisanal products made from olives and olive oil as well as the Sabina DOP olive oil from the grove you visited.
