Mid-term Exam5 Questions. Mid-term exam is based on readings, lectures and on-site visits and will cover all topics up to that point. The exam includes short answers and short essays. 40%
Final Exam 2500-3000 words. Final exam is based on the work done and covered over the entire semester. The structure and form of the final exam is similar to mid-term.40%
ParticipationParticipation is a big component of your final grade. Use it wisely. Coming on time in call and on-site will not increase you participation grade because coming ot class on time is expected and is obligatory. Everybody starts participation with a C. If you want to improve it to A read the material, answer when prompt by the instructors, make relvant comments showing that you have read the material or are genuinely interested in the topic at hand, proposed independent research related ott he course. these other activities will be considered when computing the participation grade. 20%

ACADEMIC HONESTY
As stated in the university catalog, any student who commits an act of academic dishonesty will receive a failing grade on the work in which the dishonesty occurred. In addition, acts of academic dishonesty, irrespective of the weight of the assignment, may result in the student receiving a failing grade in the course. Instances of academic dishonesty will be reported to the Dean of Academic Affairs. A student who is reported twice for academic dishonesty is subject to summary dismissal from the University. In such a case, the Academic Council will then make a recommendation to the President, who will make the final decision.
