Umbria region is one of those destination where that time does not go at the same speed as anywhere else. This is a feeling easily encountered in the villages. The mission of this trip is to enjoy the most authentic italian athmosphere and its nuances, from made in Italy to spirituality, from culinary traditions to millenary art. The combination of relaxation and exploration will be the perfect mix for our trip!

The itinerary include the waterfalls of Marmore, Assisi, Perugia and the countryside surrounding Assisi.

Furthermore, we will visit an Italian haute couture fabric for the knitwear production based in Perugia and an old farmhouse where olive oil is still produced using old techniques as one of the high quality typical products of the Umbria region.

The waterfalls of Marmore are set in the enchanting location of the Nera valley just 7 km from Terni. They stand at 165 metres tall, making them the highest waterfalls in Europe and highest artificial falls in the world. The largest single drop of the Marmore Waterfalls is 85 metres, and its average flow rate is 15 m³/s of water. The waterfalls attracts a record-breaking number of visitors every year: about half a million!

Assisi is a beautiful medieval city built on a hill in the Italian region of Umbria. As Assisi is the birthplace of Saint Francis, the city is closely associated with the work of the Franciscan Order. Its medieval art masterpieces, such as the Basilica of San Francesco and paintings by Cimabue, Pietro Lorenzetti, Simone Martini and Giotto, have made Assisi a fundamental reference point for the development of Italian and European art and architecture.

Powerful Etruscan center and then an important medieval cityPerugia still keeps precious traces of its luminous historical periods.

The city is today the administrative and cultural capital of the Umbria Region, a major tourist and cultural destination, site of the University for over 700 years. Its historic center has also changed very little in the last 400 years, filled with cute cobbled alleys, beautiful piazzas, grand churches, and stunning mansions. The historical Academy of Fine Arts, the Umbria Jazz, (one of the top Jazz Festival in Europe) the Music Conservatorium, and its University for Foreigners, define furthermore the marked international vocation.
