Fregene: Fregene's history goes back to the Etrurian and Roman ages. During those years, Fregene had major water logging problems that made the village disappear in the 5th century AC.The modern town of Fregene was created in 1928 as part of a large drainage project along the coasts of Lazio, to create a sea resort. In the 1950’s and 1960’s, the movie industry gave great prestige to the city. Many actors and movie directors lived here during that period. Federico Fellini shot images of Fregene and of its pine forest that Pope Clement IX had planted in 1666 with the objective to absorb and drain the excess water in the area.
You will be able to take part in many water sports activities such as paddle boarding, windsurfing, sailing laser boats and catamarans. We will spend an unforgettable night while barbecuing on the beach and sleeping in tents under the stars!
